For a solid, quiet, cool interior
- Produces rock solid sound quality rides.
- Reduces road and tire noise, ends rattles.
- Reduces interior temperatures 35%, 90°F cool side temperature reduction.
- Eliminates car audio distortion, improves sound quality and bass response.
- Highest material loss factor on the market
This is the ability to convert bending wave mechanical energy into heat. The higher the loss factor, the higher the performance and energy dissipation. - Full .080″ thick .004″ thick aluminum constraining layer with best adhesion on the market.
- Good to 300°F continuous; Can be used on roof panels, trunk lids and hoods with confidence. 100% odorless
- Extremely flexible, easy to work with 12″x24″ sheets.
NoViDamp Professional is a highly damped, elastomeric constrained layer vibration damping material. Put simply, it is a flexible, peel and stick sheet which can be applied to a variety of surfaces to reduce structure-borne vibration and noise. The damping material is covered with a 4 mil aluminum foil constraining layer which greatly improves performance and provides a paintable, finished surface.
NoViDamp Professional is without question the stickiest damping sheet ever developed. It will bond to any surface. Ordinary adhesives can fail if the bonding surface is not perfectly clean, especially on vertical or inverted surfaces. The peel strength of NoViDamp Professional easily out performs conventional felted asphalt dampers and does so at a lower weight per unit area. The super adhesion and conformability of NoViDamp Professional results in maximum surface contact, critical for high performance damping.
Applications
As a general rule, aluminum, fiberglass or plastic substrates up to 1/2” or steel to 1/4” are suitable for NoViDamp Professional. Listed below are common applications:
Vehicle Stereo Systems– Audio system performance is greatly improved by treating doors, floor pans, roofs, and all speaker enclosures
Vehicles– For road noise treat the floor pan, strut towers, firewall, doors, door panels, trunk, roof, and dash panels
Pipes and Tubing– Use a wrap for metal or plastic pipes used in plumbing drains or hydraulic systems
Boats– May be used for bulkheads, decks, tanks, engine room ventilation ducting, fiberglass exhaust silencers and tubing
Appliances– Treat sinks, dishwashers, disposals, and others
